Reid Spiller

Reid Spiller was raised in Jacksboro, Texas, and graduated as Valedictorian from Jacksboro High School in 2013. Reid attended Baylor University and graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 2016. While at Baylor, Reid was named to the Dean’s List and served in many leadership, service, and honor organizations. Reid went on to attend and graduate from Baylor Law School. While at Baylor Law School, Reid was named to the Dean’s List four times. He was also inducted into the Baylor Law School Order of Barristers – a society for top advocates at Baylor. Reid was a finalist in the 2017 Dawson and Sodd Moot Court Competition and was named as one of the top ten speakers in the competition. Reid also served as a brief grader and judge in the Dawson & Sodd Moot Court Competition. Reid graduated from Baylor Law School in 2019 in the top twenty-five percent of his class. Since graduating from Baylor Law School, Reid has lived and worked in Jacksboro.

Reid’s law practice is wide-ranging. Reid regularly handles matters in the following areas: probates and estates, wills, trusts, real estate, oil and gas, family, criminal, creditor-debtor, business law, commercial litigation, municipal, governmental, healthcare, and general civil litigation. Reid has served as Assistant City Attorney for the City of Jacksboro and as General Counsel for the Jack County Hospital District since 2019. While Reid was awaiting licensure from the State Bar of Texas, he authored an extensive Motion for Summary Judgment in a contested, complex estate matter that ultimately resulted in a multi-million dollar settlement for the clients of Spiller and Spiller.

Reid has been an active member of the Jacksboro community throughout his life. His wife, Haley, teaches kindergarten at Jacksboro Elementary School. Reid is a member of the First Baptist Church of Jacksboro. He enjoys all things Baylor Bear and Jacksboro Tiger related.
