David Spiller is the Managing Partner of Spiller & Spiller. David is a 1979 graduate of Jacksboro High School. He graduated from the University of Texas in 1983 with a Bachelors of Business Administration degree, and graduated from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 1986 with a Juris Doctor degree. David has been a partner in Spiller & Spiller since its inception in 1986.
David has served as City Attorney for the City of Jacksboro since 1987 and as General Counsel for the Jack County Hospital District since 1990. David is also a certified mediator, having mediated well over a thousand cases since 1997.
David is an AV Rated Attorney by Martindale-Hubbell, has received the Client Distinction Award from Martindale.com and Lawyers.com, has been named a Top Rated Lawyer in Texas by Martindale-Hubble, has received the 10 Best Client Satisfaction Award from the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys, is an Avvo Very Good Rated Attorney, and has received the Champion of Justice Award from Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas. David is also a Founding Member of the Pro Bono College of the State Bar of Texas, recently receiving a 20 Year Membership Award.
David is Vice President of Spiller Abstract Company, is President of Spiller Oil & Gas Company, and is the owner of Spiller Bonding Company. David is a Past President of the Jacksboro Chamber of Commerce. He currently serves as Vice President of the Jacksboro ISD Board of Trustees, and has served as a JISD Board of Trustee for over 21 years. He has also served on the Board of Trustees of the Texas Association of School Boards. David is a member of the First Baptist Church of Jacksboro.
David and his wife, Ginger, have two children, Mason and Reid.
